February NaBloPoMo – Day Nine
Whoo it’s the weekend, which means I get to share some photos of someone or something that I love.
Today I choose: Siblings!
Siblings are the people we practice on, the people who teach us about fairness and cooperation and kindness and caring, quite often the hard way.
First we have my brother -
This is a photo of us from when he came to visit me in Edinburgh 2 years ago(the last time I saw him). We were out dancing and I wanted to dance with him – he kept telling me that it was weird to dance with his sister to which I replied ‘No one has to know we are brother and sister’, that comment freaked him out even more. Hahaha. I miss him terribly and wish I could quickly nip over to Australia to say hello.
Next we have my sisters -
Top left is me, not one of my sisters. Attractive, huh?
They all have such different personalities but are all just as funny and lovely as each other. I was able to see them at Christmas, and I’m hoping another visit isn’t too far away.
If you have siblings, what are they like?

/ February 11, 2013Great post!! I’ve got a younger brother and sister who are both amazing human beings, they are funny, smart and have me as an older sister, how lucky are they hahaha. I love them both to the moon and back till infinity.

/ February 10, 2013I have a brother, 3 years younger. I think we are more similar than he realizes but we are in different places in our lives so we don’t interact much. But when we then it’s all ok.

/ February 10, 2013Haha he probably refuses to realise.. like mine does. I try to interact with him but he is also at a different place in life and doesn’t think talking to me is a priority.

/ February 10, 2013That photograph of you making that wonderful face at the camera is just your best shot ever LMAO! What is up with all the gorgeous blue eyes in the family by the way? As for siblings, I have only one elder brother who lives and works in Melbourne. I adore the very ground he walks on and hate that we live (literally) in two corners of the world. But I get to see him at least once a year(when our parents yank us off on our yearly vacay) So we spend that time drinking beer, catching up and discussing the best strategies for dealing with our supposedly dysfunctional family

/ February 10, 2013Hahaha thanks. It’s so hard when your family is far away. At least you get to see him every year

/ February 9, 2013My sister is definitely interesting. She and I are pretty much complete opposites on everything except our parenting styles. We’re both pretty firm, and I like that. Plus, as we’ve gotten older (she’s 15 months older than me but she acts like she’s 30 years older), we’ve grown closer together even though physically we’re farther apart. I last saw her over Christmas break, and it seems like ages since then!
